Halfmoon Bay British Columbia

Halfmoon Bay attracts lots of young families with easy walkable streets. It is also home to one of the best schools in BC – the Halfmoon Bay Elementary School that includes on-site day care, pre-school, after school programs, teen nights and special classes. The school is known for its fine arts programs and has a very good band program as well.

Home owners enjoy larger lot sizes with many homes situated on the waterfront. Boating and kayaking are also very popular in Halfmoon Bay, which offers an abundance of scenic waterways to explore.

There are two general stores in Halfmoon Bay for groceries and convenience items: the Welcome Woods Market and Nursery, known as ‘the Fawn Road market’, located in the residential neighbourhood and the Halfmoon Bay General Store, located up the hill from the Halfmoon Bay Government Dock. It carries groceries and is also a liquor store outlet. Next door is the popular Halfmoon Bay Cafe with fresh bakery goods, an ice cream counter and gourmet pizza.
